Tips for Gorilla tracking in Bwindi Forest.

Gorilla tracking is strictly regulated, with good reason. All of the rules will be explained before you head out – but you must stay at least 7m from the gorilla, and the encounter will last a maximum of one hour.

You can get away with shorts and strappy tops in the national parks, but in general, you should dress conservatively in Uganda. Knees and shoulders should be covered, with trousers and long skirts preferred over shorts.
